Your data, your control. This page explains what data Quota collects, how you can request its deletion, and what happens when you disconnect from our service.
1. What Data We Collect
When you use Quota, we collect and store the following information:
Business Account Data
- Business name and contact email
- Login credentials (password stored encrypted)
- Service categories and pricing you configure
- Custom message templates
- Dashboard settings and preferences
Facebook Page Data
- Facebook Page ID and name
- Page access tokens (stored encrypted)
- Page profile information
Customer Conversation Data
- Messages received from customers via Facebook Messenger
- Automated responses sent on your behalf
- Customer first names (from Facebook profile)
- Quotes generated and sent
- Timestamps of all interactions
2. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, email us at:
Please include:
- Your business name
- The email address associated with your account
- Confirmation that you want your data deleted
What Happens Next
- Acknowledgement (within 48 hours): We will confirm receipt of your request
- Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity to protect your data
- Processing (within 30 days): We will delete your data from our systems
- Confirmation: We will email you to confirm deletion is complete
3. What Gets Deleted

4. Disconnecting Your Facebook Page
If you disconnect your Facebook Page from Quota (without deleting your entire account):
- We immediately stop receiving messages from that Page
- The Page access token is deleted from our systems
- Historical conversation data remains accessible in your dashboard
- You can reconnect the Page at any time
To fully delete conversation history from a disconnected Page, please submit a data deletion request.
5. Automatic Data Deletion
We automatically delete certain data:
- Inactive accounts: Accounts with no activity for 24 months may be deleted after notification
- Expired trials: Trial account data is deleted 90 days after trial expiration if not converted
- Temporary data: Session tokens and temporary authentication data are deleted after 24 hours
6. Facebook Data Deletion Callback
When you remove Quota from your Facebook account settings, Facebook sends us a data deletion request. We will:
- Delete all Facebook-related data within 30 days
- Revoke and delete all Page access tokens
- Remove stored customer conversation data from that Page

8. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data (this policy)
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Object: Object to certain processing of your data
- Restriction: Request limited processing of your data

9. Third-Party Data
Please note:
- Messages sent via Facebook Messenger are also stored by Meta (Facebook). Deleting data from Quota does not delete it from Facebook's systems. See Facebook's data deletion options.
- Message content processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) is not retained by them after processing, in accordance with their data policy.
